Capitol Financial Solutions, a super-OSJ affiliated with Royal Alliance Associates with nearly $1.2 billion in total client assets, has recruited Fidelity Capital Management, a father-and-son hybrid advisory practice based in Raleigh, North Carolina with $80 million in total client assets.

Royal Alliance is part of Advisor Group, one of the nation’s largest networks of independent wealth management firms, comprised of FSC Securities Corporation, Royal Alliance Associates, SagePoint Financial and Woodbury Financial.

Headed by Will Teague and his father Bill Teague, Fidelity Capital provides financial advice to individuals, families and small businesses, with a focus on insurance and investment planning and advice. Bill Teague started with the firm in 1976 and took it over in 1994.

According to Brokercheck, the Teague’s joined Royal Alliance from Lincoln Investment where they were each affiliated for six years.

“From the initial discussions with Will and Bill Teague, we could clearly see that they were financial professionals of uncommon ability, with a loyal client base to whom they are wholly committed,” said Robert Turner, president and chief executive officer of Capitol Financial. “We are in lockstep with them in the way we view our client relationships and feel that we can enhance their ability to serve their clients.”

Royal Alliance Associates has more than 3,600 affiliated independent financial advisors, while Advisor Group serves more than 7,000 advisors and oversees $268 billion in total client assets.
