RK Properties Hires Regional Sales Director

RK Properties, a sponsor of private placements and 1031 exchange offerings, has hired Matthew Ferguson as regional sales director for the eastern region.

RK Properties, a sponsor of private placements and 1031 exchange offerings, has hired Matthew Ferguson as regional sales director for the eastern region.

Ferguson has 15 years of real estate and financial services experience, and in his new role, he will focus on educating securities brokers and their clients on Delaware statutory trust investments and 1031 tax deferred exchanges.

He began his career in the securities industry as a financial advisor at Ameriprise Financial. Prior to joining RK Properties, he served as vice president of 1031 sales at AEI Capital, where he focused on securitized real estate sales through the broker-dealer and registered investment advisor community.

Ferguson has a bachelor’s degree in finance and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls. Prior to his corporate career, he served eight years in the infantry branch of the United States Army with two tours of duty in Iraq.

In other company news, RK Properties recently sold Painted Trails Apartments in Gilbert, Arizona for approximately $48.3 million on behalf of one of its 1031 exchange investment programs and RK Opportunity Fund II.

RK Properties offers multifamily replacement properties for 1031 tax deferred exchanges, as well as straight capital investment opportunities for accredited investors who are seeking a real estate investment.
