RK Properties Hires Regional Sales Director

RK Properties, a sponsor of private placements and 1031 exchange offerings, has hired Clayton Coleman as regional sales director for the central region of the United States.

RK Properties, a sponsor of private placements and 1031 exchange offerings, has hired Clayton Coleman as regional sales director for the central region of the United States.

In his new role, he will focus on educating securities brokers and their clients on Delaware statutory trust investments and 1031 tax deferred exchanges.

Coleman has more than seven years of real estate and financial services experience and started his real estate investments career at NexPoint Securities as a regional sales consultant. He later served as a 1031 product specialist at the firm, where he focused on raising capital and marketing their DST platform through the broker-dealer and registered investment advisor channels. Prior to NexPoint, he served as an investment solutions representative and financial representative at Fidelity Investments, according to his LinkedIn profile.

“The skills and experience of our professionals is what has allowed RK to produce a consistent, successful record of performance in apartment investing for the last 45 years. Coleman holds a bachelor’s degree in corporate communications and marketing from the University of Kentucky, as well as FINRA Series 7, 63, and 66 securities licenses.

In other company news, RK Properties recently sold Lunaire Apartments in Goodyear Arizona for approximately $59.7 million on behalf of one of its 1031 exchange investment programs and RK Opportunity Fund IV.
