Red Oak Hires Vice President of Sales for Western Region

Red Oak Capital Holdings, a Michigan-based commercial real estate finance company, has hired a vice president of sales covering the western region.

Red Oak Capital Holdings, a Michigan-based commercial real estate finance company, has hired Mindey Morrison as vice president of sales covering the western region. Her primary responsibilities include leading the independent broker-dealer sales channel and initiating registered investment advisor (RIA) sales efforts in the Western United States.

Morrison has more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry and has worked as a financial advisor in both corporate and independent environments. Additionally, she specializes in alternative investments, residential and commercial real estate, options trading, and traditional asset classes.

Prior to joining Red Oak, Morrison held a hybrid position at Legendary Capital serving as the western regional vice president and national key accounts manager. The company said that she was a top producing sales representative, generating $40 million in sales. She also served as a wealth manager at both Solomon Smith Barney and Efficient Market Advisors.

“Throughout her career, Mindey established and maintained strong relationships within the IBD, RIA, and intermediary channels throughout the Western United States,” said Gary Bechtel, Red Oak’s chief executive officer.” Her expertise coupled with her strong networking skills has allowed her to secure and optimize new business for distribution companies, large and small financial institutions, and investment advisory firms.”

Morrison holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Los Angeles, as well as FINRA Series 22, 63 and 65 securities licenses.
