RCAP’s SK Research Acquires Employees of MTS Research Advisors

MTS Research Advisors (MTS), LLC, recently disclosed that its employees are now associated with SK Research LLC (SK), a RCS Capital Corporation (RCAP) entity.

MTS is owned and operated by its President Michael Stubben, a real estate finance executive and member of the state bar of Arizona since 2000.

The Arizona-based firm provides advisors and investors with non-traded REIT and BDC data and analysis designed to make due diligence of the many investment offerings easier. In addition to providing free fact sheets and reports, MTS offers subscription based services such as its Due Diligence Reports and Market Intelligence.

While there hasn’t been a formal announcement regarding the affiliation with SK, MTS’s quarterly data became available today.

In the disclaimer section of each report, MTS states, “The employees of MTS Research recently became associated with SK Research LLC, a registered investment advisor. MTS Research continues to operate as a business independent of SK Research.”

MTS was not able to provide additional comments.

SK was formed earlier this year when RCAP agreed to hire Todd Snyder, John Kearney and most of their former employees under Snyder Kearney, LLC, a law firm that provided third party due diligence to the advisor-sold non-traded Direct Investment Industry.
