Provasi Adds Five New Hires to Sales and National Accounts Teams

Provasi Capital Partners LP has added five new employees to the company’s national accounts and distribution teams, including Warren Posner, Jay Sluis, Matt King, Arthur Miller, and Angelica Proctor-Saddler.

Within the national accounts group, Posner has been hired as senior vice president and has more than 20 years of experience cultivating home office and financial representative relationships within the independent broker-dealer and investment advisor channels.

During his career, Posner has served in senior leadership roles at WIP Advisory, LPL Financial, Lightstone Capital Markets, Morgan Stanley Smith Barney, and Prudential Investments.

“Warren’s impeccable reputation and ability to craft meaningful relationships within the broker-dealer community is highly sought-after, and we look forward to utilizing his skills and experience to bolster our valued selling group,” said James Ryan, managing director of national accounts at Provasi.

Within the sales distribution team, Sluis has joined the company as a senior regional vice president in the role of external wholesaler serving financial advisors located in the Midwest. He brings 25 years of financial product distribution and alternative investment expertise in fixed income, private equity and credit, real estate and long/short to his new role.

Prior to joining the firm, Sluis was an external wholesaler at Bluerock Real Estate and previously served in distribution roles at FS Investments and Highland Capital Management.

King has been hired as a senior regional vice president in the role of external wholesaler serving financial advisors located in the South. He has more than 20 years of financial product distribution experience, which includes alternative investments, mutual funds, 401k plans, sub-advised funds, managed/separate accounts, and structured products.

King was senior vice president of business development at 3T Solutions before joining Provasi and has served in distribution roles at FS Investments, DWS Investments, and Invesco.

With nearly 25 years of financial product distribution experience, Miller has also been hired as a senior regional vice president in the role of external wholesaler serving financial advisors located in the Northeast.

Prior to joining Provasi, Miller was a financial advisor with Vanderbilt Securities and previously served in distribution roles at Lightstone Group, SQN Capital Management, Terra Capital, and Oppenheimer Funds.

Additionally, Angelica Proctor-Saddler has joined Provasi Capital Partners as an associate vice president on the internal sales desk located in Dallas, Texas. In her new position, she will support Provasi’s external sales efforts.

Proctor-Saddler previously served in the client experience group at 1st Global Research, and has held client services and sales roles at Barclays, Raymond James, and AXA Advisors.

“We are confident that the sales skills, experience, and acumen of our new team members will bolster the continued growth of our distribution footprint,” said Shea Gordon, managing director of distribution at Provasi.

In other Provasi news, the company recently hired Kamal Jafarnia to serve as managing director of legal and business development, as well as deputy general counsel for both Provasi Capital Partners and the organization’s parent company, Stratera Holdings.
