Private Equity Conference Host Launches Program for Young Entrepreneurs
Described as a “game changer” by Arizona Secretary of State, Ken Bennett, FSXinterlinked will be unveiling its “Tomorrow’s CEOs Today” program at its quarterly investment conference. The event will be held Oct 29-31 at Dove Mountain in Marana, Arizona.
“Tomorrow’s CEOs Today” is a scholarship program for top performing high school students interested in starting their own business. The twelve students selected this year by the Prima County Joint Technical Education District will be given the opportunity to shadow potential investors and meet with high-ranking executives.
Before kicking off the event on October 29, an inaugural golf tournament will be held at The Golf Club at Dove Mountain to benefit the program. The three-day conference will feature networking events, one-on-one investor meetings, educational seminars, and FINRA updates. In addition, the gathering will include private investment presentations by 18 emerging growth companies and funding opportunities from various industry sponsors.
FSXinterlinked will donate 40% of all conference profits to the “Tomorrow’s CEOs Today” scholarship fund in addition to 10% to a local charity.
“We’ve structured this event to create jobs in the market by aiding companies in raising the capital they need to launch their product, while simultaneously reaching our goal to give back to the community by providing real life business training for tomorrow’s young leaders,” said Delray Wannemacher, president and chief executive officer of FSXinterlinked. “We encourage local business to come take part in the conference.”
FSXinterlinked’s Investment Conference will also feature current founder, chairman, and CEO of IssuWorks, David Weild, as the keynote speaker.
Mr. Weild, also the former vice chairman of NASDAQ, will speak about changes in the regulation of capital formation and the potential effect on shareholder value.
Since its founding in 1982, FSXinterlinked has become one of the leading investment conferences in the country.
The conference host seeks to connect emerging growth companies that are raising capital with broker-dealers, RIAs, accredited investors, and licensed funding sources. As a result of its events, FSXinterlinked has assisted in over $3 billion in capital formation.
