Phoenix American Financial Services Hires Vice President of Sales
Phoenix American Financial Services Inc., a provider of fund administration, fund accounting and transfer agent services for the alternative investment industry, has hired Tony Olivo as vice president of sales.
Phoenix American Financial Services Inc., a provider of fund administration, fund accounting and transfer agent services for the alternative investment industry, has hired Tony Olivo as vice president of sales. Olivo returned to the firm after spending three years as director of business development at PEF Services.
Olivo will be responsible for implementing the company’s sales strategy, developing and maintaining an expanded client base for the fund accounting, investor services, back office outsourcing and technology services Phoenix provides to alternative investment funds.
Olivo has 14 years of industry experience and joins from PEF Services where he served as director of business development since 2017.
He started his financial services career at Phoenix American Financial Services in 2006 as an investor services representative. He served in operations with the company for four years, where he learned the back-office operations for alternative investment funds and worked with Phoenix’s proprietary fund administration system.
Olivo later held the position of senior account manager, and then transitioned to director of business development in 2010, serving in that role for seven years.

Phoenix American Financial Services provides back-office outsourcing, fund accounting and transfer agent services as well as sales and marketing reporting services to fund companies in the alternative investment industry. The firm was founded in 1972 and is headquartered in San Rafael, California.
