Phillips Edison Promotes Ted Kallergis to Vice President of Investment Management

Phillips Edison & Company, an internally-managed real estate investment trust, has promoted Ted Kallergis to vice president of investment management.

Phillips Edison & Company, an internally-managed real estate investment trust, has promoted Ted Kallergis to vice president of investment management.

In his new role, Kallergis is a senior member of the institutional investment management business, focusing on all aspects of portfolio management as well as various strategic opportunities and initiatives for the company.

“Phillips Edison is highly focused on recognizing, attracting and cultivating exceptional talent. Ted is an outstanding example of this. He has been an incredible asset to the team, grown in his role and expanded our capabilities,” said Ryan Moore, who leads investment management at Phillips Edison.

Kallergis joined Phillips Edison in 2014 as a senior corporate financial analyst and was promoted to director of strategic planning in 2015. He started his real estate career in 2010 as an associate with UBS Investment Bank’s Real Estate, Lodging and Leisure group. Kallergis holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Georgetown University.

Phillips Edison Grocery Center REIT I launched in August 2010 and raised nearly $1.8 billion before closing the offering in the first quarter of 2014. Shares were originally sold for $10.00 each. The company’s portfolio consists of 236 properties with a combined purchase price of approximately $3.7 billion, according to Summit Investment Research.
