NexPoint, an alternative investment platform and sponsor, has hired David Bulger as regional sales director for Florida and Georgia in a move to expand its sales and distribution team.
Bulger spent the last 14 years wholesaling alternative investment offerings to independent broker-dealers in Florida, most recently with Cantor Fitzgerald. According to his BrokerCheck profile, he spent six years at Realty Capital Securities, three years at KBS Capital Markets Group, and holds FINRA Series 7, 63, and 65 licenses.
In addition to Bulger, NexPoint has hired six sales directors in the last six months, including Scott Belval, regional sales director for the New England and Upstate New York regions; Luke Castanien, regional sales director for the Great Plains region; Kyle Castle, regional sales director for the Great Lakes region; Paul DeMaio, director of RIA and family office sales; Mark Dillion, regional sales director for the Four Corners region; and Sean Parvin, senior regional sales director in the Southern California region.
NexPoint’s platform is comprised of a group of investment advisers and sponsors, a broker-dealer, and related investment vehicles. The company’s alternatives investment programs include public and private real estate investment trusts, Delaware statutory trusts and other private real estate investments, closed-end funds, interval funds, and a business development company.
