Megatel Homes, a Texas-based homebuilder that funds part of its operations through private placements offered by its capital markets division Megatel Capital Investment (MCI), has launched the Megatel COVID-19 Front Line Heroes Program. The homeownership program is designed for medical, law enforcement and firefighting professionals on the front line of the coronavirus pandemic by crediting six months of principal and interest payments towards the purchase of a new Megatel-built home.

Zach Ipour, co-founder of Megatel Homes said, “My brother Aaron and I started Megatel Homes in 2006 as a small remodeling company and have since grown to become one of the largest private homebuilders in the nation. Our success would not have been possible without the support of our local community and the services provided by our local law enforcement, healthcare and firefighting professionals and we are pleased to give back to them whenever we can, such as with this program.”

Launched on April 17, 2020, the Megatel COVID-19 Front Line Heroes Program provides six months of mortgage relief and applies to those who purchase a new Megatel home before May 31, 2020.

Last April, the homebuilder launched the Megatel Rent-Back program in partnership with certain apartment communities, that would rebate up to one year of rent payments at lease-end to renters who choose to purchase a Megatel home.

Megatel Homes was founded in 2006 and has completed more than 100 developments, comprised of several thousand homes, across the states of Texas and Oklahoma.
