Megatel Homes, a Texas-based homebuilder that funds part of its operations through private placements offered by its capital markets division Megatel Capital Investment (MCI), has closed out the development of Grayhawk, a 169-lot community of single-family homes in the Dallas suburb of Forney, Texas.

Ranging in size from 1,983 square feet to 2,608 square feet, homes in the community were most recently priced between $430,000 and $464,000.

Megatel’s Grayhawk community is located in Kaufman County, which was the fastest-growing county in the nation between 2020 and 2021, according to a report by U.S News & World Reports. The company said that “residents are migrating to Forney in response to the thriving job market, highly rated education system, and housing affordability.”

“Forney has experienced tremendous growth in the past few years,” said Zach Ipour, co-founder. “This Dallas suburb offers an abundance of opportunity in both the employment and housing sectors. We look forward to continued success in Forney from new home sales in our upcoming Bellagio lagoon community.”

Megatel is currently developing their lagoon community, Bellagio, in Forney, which will include a manmade lagoon with white sand beaches, a swim-up bar, and an entertainment district.

Megatel Homes has completed more than 100 developments comprised of several thousand homes since its founding in 2006. The company currently has more than 100 communities and is spreading throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex.
