MDS Energy Development’s Dealer-Manager Expands Team, Opens New Office

MDS Securities, LLC, the dealer-manager for energy-focused retail investment offerings sponsored by MDS Energy Development, LLC, a Pittsburgh-based fully integrated oil and gas exploration firm, recently announced the opening of its new headquarters and expansion of its wholesaling team.

With a presence in the Cherry Creek suburb of Denver, Colorado, the company is positioned to attract experienced individuals from other financial services firms including several sponsors of non-traded direct investments.

“Denver is a very important financial hub, drawing an immense amount of talent,” noted MDS Securities Managing Director Brannon McPherson. “We’ve already been able to draw on this with the addition of several local experienced internal wholesalers and compliance folks. In addition to building its team in Cherry Creek, MDS Securities has added several external wholesalers to its ranks.

Commenting on the new hires, Stone said, “We have added several key members to our wholesaling team in the last 12 months, bringing on industry veterans Mark Levy (formerly U.S. Energy Development), Scott Farrington (formerly Coachman Energy) and Todd Armstrong (formerly Hard Rock Exploration).”
