MCI Names New Chief Financial Officer

Megatel Capital Investment LLC (MCI), the capital markets division of the Megatel Group of companies, has named Richard Wygle as its new chief financial officer.

In his new role, Wygle is responsible for accounting, financial reporting and leading the effort to take the company public. He has more than 20 years of financial reporting experience for both public and private companies across multiple industries including multifamily, student housing, and mixed-use real estate.

“Finding the right chief financial officer was a vital goal for MCI,” said Zach Ipour, co-founder of MCI. “Richard’s role is an essential part of our strategy to continue to expand our distribution within the broker-dealer channel, as well as our ultimate goal of an IPO”.

Prior to joining the MCI team, Wygle served as CFO for Collegiate Companies where he focused on strategic planning, reporting requirements, oversight of 32 employees across accounting, construction accounting, finance, human resources, property management, and information technology.

Prior to Collegiate Companies, he served as senior corporate controller at JPI Inc., a $200 million nationwide multifamily real estate developer, contractor, and property management company with a focus on luxury multifamily properties.

MCI specializes in providing growth capital to one of the largest home-builders based in Dallas, Texas. MCI’s efforts are currently focused on communities in fast-growing population centers primarily located in Texas.
