Madison Capital Group Hires Head of Investor Relations

Madison Capital Group, a private investment and advisory firm, has hired Marlene Arteta as senior vice president of investor relations and communications.

Madison Capital Group, a private investment and advisory firm, has hired Marlene Arteta as senior vice president of investor relations and communications. In this newly created role, she will be responsible for investor communications and will shape the firm’s external messaging.

With 28 years of financial services experience, Arteta has held various marketing roles during her career, including positions at the Chicago Board Options Exchange, Stein Roe, and several 1031 exchange sponsors, the company said.

Most recently she was chief content officer for boutique broker-dealer Emerson Equity LLC, and before that, she was chief marketing officer for Sandlapper Capital Investments.

She previously served as director of communications with the Tenant-In-Common Association (TICA), the predecessor of the Alternative & Direct Investment Securities Association (ADISA).

“Marlene has worked on all sides of the equation in our industry. This depth of knowledge will offer Madison’s investors an unparalleled experience,” said Tim Snodgrass, director of capital markets. “Her hire helps bolster the firm’s ability to achieve our goals in 2020 and beyond.”

Arteta received her master’s degree in financial services from DePaul University and her bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Illinois at Chicago. She also holds FINRA Series 22 and 63 licenses.

Madison Capital Group, based in Charlotte, North Carolina and Charleston, South Carolina, invests in real estate and private equity opportunities with a primary focus in the self-storage and multifamily sectors. Madison Capital is the parent company of Go Store It Partners, a non-traded direct investment sponsor that focuses on the self-storage.
