LPL Financial LLC, the nation’s largest independent broker-dealer, has added Infinity Financial Partners to its broker-dealer and corporate registered investment advisor platforms. Infinity, which joins LPL from Cetera, serves approximately $365 million of client brokerage and advisory assets.
Based in Richmond, Virginia, Infinity Financial Partners was founded in 2000 by Ronnie Poindexter and Phillip Heesen Jr. Other financial advisors aligned with Infinity include Alex Robinson, Robert Kellis Jr., Dustin Newton, Robert Wheatley, Tyler Dove and Ben Dychala. The Infinity team provides wealth management services to individuals and business owners and offers primarily fee-based services.
Infinity noted that they chose LPL for its technology and advisory platforms.
“We continue to invest in our technology and investment platforms to help advisors grow their business, and we are excited that Infinity Financial Partners recognized the value of these investments,” said Rich Steinmeier, LPL Financial’s managing director and divisional president of business development. “We look forward to supporting their firm for many years to come.”
In other LPL news, earlier this month, the firm recruited Seattle First Asset Management LLC from Signator Investors. Seattle First oversees approximately $800 million in client assets.
LPL Financial provides service to approximately $681 billion in brokerage and advisory assets as of the third quarter of 2018. The company provides proprietary technology, comprehensive clearing services, practice management programs and training, and independent research to more than 16,000 financial advisors and 700 financial institutions.
