LPL Financial Adds Another Group from Kestra Financial
LPL Financial LLC, the nation’s largest independent broker-dealer, has added Encino-California-based PFP Financial and Insurance Services Corp. to its broker-dealer and corporate registered investment advisor platforms.

Howard Fink, principal of PFP, manages approximately $100 million of client brokerage, advisory and retirement plan assets. The team spent more than two decades with FMS Financial Partners, an affiliate of Kestra Financial Partners.
Fink formed PFP more than four decades ago, first focusing on insurance and branching out into investments in 1982. With a support staff of two, he helps clients plan for retirement through qualified plans and individual investment advice. Fink holds the master registered financial consultant designation.
Fink adds that LPL’s technology has brought a lot of value to their firm, and specifically noted his experience with client onboarding. “It used to take us two to three days to get a new client in the system. LPL’s system takes two to three hours, which gives us an advantage with clients who want to move fast,” said Fink.
LPL recently added another group formally affiliated with Kestra’s FMS Financial. This week, The DI Wire reported that Charton Financial Group which, manages approximately $500 million of client brokerage, advisory, and retirement plan assets, joined LPL’s brokerage and advisory platforms.
LPL Financial provides service to approximately $706 billion in brokerage and advisory assets as of the second quarter of 2019. The company provides proprietary technology, comprehensive clearing services, practice management programs and training, and independent research to more than 16,000 financial advisors and 700 financial institutions.
