Links Car Wash Appoints EVP of Capital Markets Names 50 Million Primary Offering

Marlene Arteta

Car wash platform Links Car Wash recently named Marlene Arteta as executive vice president of capital markets. She is leading the company’s fundraising efforts and managing investor relations, all related to executing Links Car Wash’s ambitious growth strategy.

Before joining Links Car Wash, Arteta served as chief marketing officer from 2022 to 2024 and senior vice president of investor relations and communications from 2020 to 2022 at affiliated company Madison Capital Group. With more than 30 years of experience in the financial services industry, Arteta has held various marketing roles during her career, including positions at the Chicago Board Options Exchange, Stein Roe, and several 1031 exchange sponsors. Prior to joining Madison, she was chief content officer for Emerson Equity LLC and before that, she was chief marketing officer for Sandlapper Capital Investments.

“Marlene’s extensive experience and proven track record in the financial services industry make her an invaluable addition to our leadership team,” said Ryan Hanks, chief executive officer of Madison Capital Group and founder of Links Car Wash. “Her deep understanding of capital markets and investor relations will be instrumental as we execute our growth strategy and continue to revolutionize the car wash industry.”

Links Car Wash, founded by Hanks, is on a mission to redefine the car wash experience by establishing and acquiring state-of-the-art facilities in high-growth markets across the country. The company’s approach includes advanced technology, such as license plate readers, which expedite service for subscription members and enhance operational efficiency.

Distributed in the broker-dealer market via Realta and Arkadios to start, Links’ initial Regulation D 506(c) offering is Links Car Wash Opportunity Fund, LLC, with aims to raise $50 million.

Its first location opened in Orlando, and it is renovating another facility in Tampa, Fla., scheduled to open later in 2024. According to the company, the remodeled site features cutting-edge equipment and technology designed to provide a superior car wash experience, setting the stage for future expansions and investments.

According to Links, Arteta’s appointment aligns with the company’s aggressive expansion plans, which are supported by a technology-driven approach to operations, emphasizing proactive maintenance, real-time monitoring, and substantial water usage reduction compared to traditional car washing methods.

“I’m thrilled to join Links Car Wash at such an exciting time in its development,” said Arteta. “I look forward to working closely with our investors and partners as we expand our footprint and continue to innovate in the car wash industry.”

Arteta has a master’s degree in financial services marketing from DePaul University, and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois, Chicago.
