KBS Strategic Opportunity REIT II Adopts Revised NAV

The board of KBS Strategic Opportunity REIT II, a publicly registered non-traded real estate investment trust, has approved a $9.65 estimated net asset value for the company’s common stock, as of September 30, 2018.

The new NAV per share is an increase of 6.6 percent compared to last year’s valuation of $9.05 per share.

The REIT’s advisor, KBS Capital Advisors LLC, relied on appraised values of the company’s properties as provided by Duff & Phelps LLC, and independent valuation firm, together with the advisor’s estimated value of each of the company’s other assets and their liabilities, to calculate and recommend an estimated value per share of the common stock.

KBS Strategic Opportunity REIT II launched in August 2014, and through a private placement offering and a subsequent initial public offering, raised a total of $242 million in investor equity as of the third quarter of 2017. The company oversees a $519 million portfolio comprised of seven investments, according to Summit Investment Research.
