KBS Capital Markets Group Promotes Two

Real estate investment company KBS recently announced two executive level promotions within its Capital Markets Group, the managing broker-dealer of the company’s real estate investment programs.

Mick Manning and Jeffrey Kremin were both promoted to chief executive officer and president, and national sales manager, respectively.

“Mick and Jeff have been instrumental in growing our Capital Markets business,” said Charles Schreiber, chief executive officer of KBS. “As our client base continues to grow and seek more insight, our leadership team must be equipped to deliver. Their extensive experience will further strengthen our team.”

As CEO and president, Manning who’s been with KBS for nine years, will oversee internal and external wholesaling operations. Prior to KBS, the 25-year industry veteran held leadership roles with MFS/Sun Life, MassMutual, and Northwestern Mutual.

Kremin, as national sales manager, will oversee the activities of the regional vice presidents (external wholesalers) and the development of sales efforts in the registered investment advisor (RIA) channel. Previously, he served as the eastern divisional sales manager, leading distribution efforts of KBS’s real estate investment programs in the eastern region.

Peter Bren and Charles J. Schreiber founded KBS Realty Advisors in 1992. Since inception, KBS-affiliated companies have completed over $32 billion in real estate related transactions via 14 separate accounts, six commingled funds, five sovereign wealth funds and six non-traded REITs.
