Inland Securities Corporation, the dealer-manager and placement agent for real estate investment programs offered by Inland Real Estate Investment Corporation and Inland Private Capital Corporation, announced that Brett Woodyatt has joined the company as senior vice president of strategic relations.

Inland says Woodyatt will be responsible for managing relationships with current distribution partners and focusing on business development for new channels and partnerships.

Woodyatt has more than 25 years of sales experience in the financial services industry. Prior to joining Inland Securities, he held positions with Transamerica, Cole Capital, Griffin Capital and Sun Life Financial. Most recently, he served as director, national accounts of asset management at Transamerica for seven years where he was responsible for managing relationships with some of the company’s largest distribution partners across wirehouse, independent and bank channels.

“Brett is an excellent addition to our growing leadership team,” said Phil Graham, executive vice president of strategic relations. “He brings a proven track record along with unique skill sets that include experience with a wide variety of wealth management products and the establishment of existing relationships among multiple distribution channels.”

Woodyatt received his bachelor’s degree from Syracuse University.
