Inland Securities Continues to Expand Sales Team

Inland Securities Corporation has hired Jeni Middaugh and Miguel Aguilar as vice presidents – external wholesalers. In their new positions, both Middaugh and Aguilar will help build relationships with current and new financial advisors. Middaugh is responsible for the entire Mid-Atlantic region, while Aguilar is working alongside fellow vice president Peter Fisher building networks in Northern California.

Prior to joining Inland Securities, Middaugh served as a regional vice president for Provasi Capital Partners, where she oversaw the wholesaling efforts of closed-end mutual funds, open-end funds and an interval fund through the independent broker-dealer and RIA channels. During her 15-year career, Middaugh has also held similar positions at Griffin Capital Securities, United Development Funding and CNL Securities.

Middaugh received a master’s degree in leadership from Georgetown University and a bachelor’s degree in business and management from University of Maryland. She also holds FINRA Series 7 and 63 securities licenses and a certification from the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst Association.

Aguilar comes to Inland Securities from First Capital Real Estate, where he served as regional vice president – sales. In his role, he was responsible for managing all sales and marketing activities related to First Capital Real Estate’s Regulation D offerings in Northern California and the Pacific Northwest.

Prior to his role with First Capital, Aguilar served as national product manager at Realty Capital Securities, where he was responsible for sales of the numerous RC Securities Credit offerings within the bank, regional and independent channels. He also oversaw and drove sales with 50 external wholesalers entirely through self-initiated marketing activities and programs. During his more than 15-year career, he has also held positions at Thompson National Properties and US Advisors LLC/Strategic Storage Holdings.

Aguilar received a bachelor’s degree in business management from California Coast University and holds FINRA Series 7 and 63 securities licenses.

Last month, The DI Wire reported that Inland Securities hired Carlos Hammer and Jonathan Freeman as vice presidents – external wholesalers.
