Inland Securities Appoints Senior Vice President of Institutional Relations
Inland Securities Corporation has hired Peter S. Martin III as senior vice president of institutional relations.
Inland Securities Corporation, the dealer-manager and placement agent for real estate investment programs sponsored by Inland Real Estate Investment Corporation and Inland Private Capital Corporation, has hired Peter S. Martin III as senior vice president of institutional relations.
The company said that Martin has more than a decade of capital raise, business development and equity analysis experience with a focus on emerging markets, real estate, credit and infrastructure. In his new position, he will represent Inland-sponsored investment programs offered by Inland Securities through a distribution channel of registered investment advisors and other financial intermediaries working in an advisory capacity.
Martin previously served as managing partner of a private equity fund, the company said, where he “raised limited partnership capital and led real estate development projects within the multifamily market.” He also served as vice president of the northeast region at Strategic Capital Distributors, “bringing new offerings to market across the residential sector as well as leading the capital raise and business development initiatives in the institutional and retail channels.”
Martin was registered with First Trust Portfolios L.P. from March 2020 to April 2020, and from SC Distributors from August 2014 to July 2019, according to his BrokerCheck profile.
“Peter Martin is a highly experienced financial services professional, who brings a wealth of expertise in the RIA marketplace and alternative investment industry. He is an excellent addition to Inland,” said Colin Cosgrove, executive vice president and head of sales for Inland Securities.
Martin received a bachelor’s degree in economics from Boston College and completed international studies at Beida University in Beijing, China, and the University of Cordoba in Spain.
