Hatteras Sky Names Managing Director of Capital Markets

Hatteras Sky, a commercial real estate development firm focusing on tax-incentivized and conventional development, has named Jay Rosoff as managing director of capital markets.

Hatteras Sky, a commercial real estate development firm focusing on tax-incentivized and conventional development, has named Jay Rosoff as managing director of capital markets.

Rosoff has more than 30 years of experience working in asset management and distribution and has held a number of sales and management positions prior to joining Hatteras Sky. In his new role, Rosoff will lead the capital markets initiatives for the broker-dealer community, including the marketing and distribution of all products.

“Jay is a proven expert in capital markets and investor services who shares our entrepreneurial spirit and brings quality and integrity to solving real estate investment challenges,” said Amy Kelly, Hatteras Sky co-founding principal and chief operations officer.

According to his LinkedIn profile, he previously served as regional sales director at Crossroads Capital Distributors, senior vice president of fund distribution at ARC Income Funds/Hatteras Funds, managing director and head of distribution at Thesis Fund Distributors, vice president of wealth management at Allianz Life Financial Services, managing director/national sales manager at Allianz Global Investors, and senior vice president and wholesaler at Eaton Vance.

Rosoff holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Northeastern University, as well as FINRA Series 6, 7, 24, 63 and 65 securities licenses.

Hatteras Sky focuses on opportunity zones, affordable housing, and historic rehabilitation. The firm sponsors the Union Station Opportunity Zone Fund and is currently involved with 12 projects in Seattle, Phoenix, Salt Lake City and Asheville within its $780 million opportunity zone portfolio.
