Hartman Joins DTCC’s Alternative Investment Product Program

Hartman Short Term Income Properties XX Inc., a publicly registered non-traded real estate investment trust, will be partnering with the Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation’s Alternative Investment Product Services platform.

AIP links broker/dealers, fund managers, fund administrators, and custodians to provide a standardized end-to-end reporting process for alternative investments, including non-traded real estate investment trusts.

“The real benefit of the AIP Platform is that all of a client’s investment positions can be reflected on a singular account statement, which enhances investment transparency and the investor’s overall understanding of portfolio composition and performance,” said Rick Vitale, president of Hartman Advisors.

“This is another example of Hartman’s continuing efforts to put the needs of investors first. We look forward to a long and beneficial partnership with AIP,” said Al Hartman, chief executive officer.

Hartman is a value-oriented REIT sponsor which invests in properties located primarily in Texas. As of September 30, 2015, the company had received approximately $117.5 million in gross proceeds from its initial and follow-on offerings, and invested approximately $189.5 million in 15 properties comprising a total of 2.4 million square feet.
