Hamister Reg D Fund Buys Memory Care Center Near Washington D.C.

Hamister Real Estate Equity Fund III LP., a private real estate fund sponsored by Hamister Group LLC, has purchased Lansdowne Heights LLC, a 60-unit memory care facility in the Washington D.C. suburb of Leesburg, Virginia.

Hamister Real Estate Equity Fund III LP., a private real estate fund sponsored by Hamister Group LLC, has purchased Lansdowne Heights LLC, a 60-unit memory care facility in the Washington D.C. suburb of Leesburg, Virginia. The purchase price was not disclosed.

Lansdowne Heights is managed by Hamister Group and slated to open in April 2020. The facility, located at 19520 Sandridge Way, is designed for memory care and serves patients with dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, and other forms of cognitive impairment. Hamister Group noted that it “has built a team of licensed nursing professionals and care providers specially trained to focus on the strengths and needs of each individual resident.”

Hamister Real Estate Equity Fund III invest in middle-market hotels and senior housing facilities. According to a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission, Hamister Real Estate Equity Fund III is structured as a Regulation D 506(c) fund and seeks to raise $60 million in investor equity.
