GWG Holdings Hires Steven Reed to Lead West Region Sales

GWG Holdings Inc. (Nasdaq: GWGH), the parent company of financial services company of GWG Life, has hired financial services industry veteran Steven Reed as west region vice president.

Reed has more than 30 years of sales experience across multiple product disciplines in the financial services sector including REITs and Reg D private placements. In his new role will support advisors in the west territory covering Alaska, California, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Northern Nevada, Oregon, Washington and Wyoming.

Reed has held sales positions at financial services firms across the U.S, most notably at Scudder Investments, Dividend Capital, and Northstar Realty Finance. He holds FINRA licenses 7, 24, 53, 63 and 65 and is a registered representative of Emerson Equity LLC.

GWG Holdings is a specialty finance company and a leader in the life insurance secondary market. Since 2006, GWG Life has provided seniors more than $436 million in exchange value for their life insurance and, as of June 30, 2017, owned a portfolio of approximately $1.5 billion in face value of policy benefits.
