Griffin Capital Securities LLC, the wholesale broker-dealer subsidiary of Griffin Capital Company, has promoted a number of its sales professionals, including Mark Pillor who now serves as a senior vice president, external wholesaler at the firm.
In his new role, Pillor will support independent broker-dealers in the Midwest region. He previously served as assistant vice president, internal wholesaler at Griffin Capital Securities, and before joining the Griffin team in late 2016, he was a regional advisory consultant at Cole Capital.

In addition, Griffin Capital has hired 15 new employees since January 2018 and four other professionals within Griffin Capital Securities were recently recognized for expanded senior roles. The company said that the promotions were “designed to support surging demand” by financial advisors and their retail investor clients for Griffin’s investment products.
As previously reported by The DI Wire, Brady Gallagher was promoted from senior vice president, external wholesaler to the leadership position of divisional sales director.
Additionally, Rachel Lage was promoted from associate vice president, internal wholesaler to vice president, associate external wholesaler with coverage of Alabama, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi and Eastern Texas.
Jade Clark was promoted to vice president, associate external wholesaler from associate vice president, internal wholesaler and will oversee Northern New Jersey and New York. Gizelle Lara, who previously held an entry level development role, was named associate vice president, internal wholesaler for the same region.
