Greenbacker Decreases Net Asset Value Per Share

The board of directors of Greenbacker Renewable Energy Company LLC, a publicly registered, non-traded limited liability company, approved estimated net asset values for its shares of common stock, as of December 31, 2016.

Class A and class I shares are valued at $8.69 per share, a decrease of $0.05 per share from the prior quarter end’s valuation. Class C shares of common stock are valued at $8.44, also a decrease of $0.05 per share from the prior quarter.

Due to the changes in net asset values per share, the company revised the per share offering price for each class of shares effective February 8, 2017. Class A shares will be priced at $10.224 each, class C shares are priced at $9.526 each, and class I shares are $9.391 per share.

Due to the changes in the share offering prices, the company’s board authorized cash distributions payable on March 1, 2017, April 3, 2017 and May 1, 2017 to shareholders of record as of February 28, 2017, March 31, 2017, and April 28, 2017, respectively.

To maintain the current annual distribution rates of 6 percent for class A, 6.5 percent for class I and 6.3 percent for class C share shares, the board has adjusted daily cash distributions for class A and class I shares to $0.00168066 per share and to $0.00163500 for class C shares.
