Greenbacker Buys Two Solar Facilities in Southern California

Greenbacker Renewable Energy Company LLC, a publicly registered, non-traded limited liability company, has acquired the Golden Horizons Portfolio from LDK Solar USA Inc. for approximately $7.7 million.  The portfolio consists of two operating solar photovoltaic systems comprising 7.7 megawatts located in North Palm Springs, California.

With the addition of these solar assets, Greenbacker Renewable Energy Company now owns approximately 158.9 megawatts of generating capacity comprising 45.5 megawatts of wind facilities and 113.4 megawatts of commercial and residential solar facilities.

Greenbacker Renewable Energy Company owns and operates a diversified portfolio of income-producing renewable energy power plants, energy efficiency projects, and other sustainable investments.
