Great Lakes Fund Solutions Inc., a registered transfer agent and investor services outsourcing company, has hired Gabriela Maganlal as financial and product management officer and has promoted Danielle Lesperance to director of operations, bringing the company’s management committee to five members.
In her new role, Maganlal will be responsible for various finance, internal control and compliance functions at the company. She previously held positions as manager of project accounting at Walgreens and has served as treasurer of the Village of North Barrington in Illinois. Maganlal is a certified public accountant and holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in accounting from the University of Kentucky.
Lesperance has been with Great Lakes since 2014, which the company noted was a period of significant client growth, during which she made contributions to efficiency and quality control. Prior to accepting the new position, she served as relationship manager for a number of key clients. The company noted that Lesperance “understands the needs of alternative investment fund sponsors” and is an “expert user of the company’s internally-developed fund administration platform, eSuperior.”
“These new positions and talented staff members reflect the company’s continuing efforts to enhance quality and control through standardization and documentation of process, while simultaneously developing our staff and improving our investor servicing software,” said Mark Lancaster, president and CEO of Great Lakes Fund Solutions.
