GPB Capital Holdings Appoints Fred Harmeyer as Managing Partner of Real Estate

GPB Capital Holdings, a global investment management firm focused on income-producing private equity and real estate, appointed Fred Harmeyer as its new managing partner of real estate.

Harmeyer has more than 25 years of commercial real estate investment and finance experience with industry-leading firms. In his role at GPB, he will be responsible for determining the overall direction, strategy, and investment implementation of the company’s real estate division.

“We are thrilled to have Fred join GPB as a managing partner of real estate,” said GPB chief executive officer, Dave Gentile. “Given Fred’s extensive institutional background and broad expertise, GPB has made another meaningful step in its quest to source the highest quality leaders to run each of our respective business units.”

Prior to joining GPB, Harmeyer served as senior managing director for Cushman & Wakefield from 2012-2015. He also served as partner and head of commercial real estate debt investments and research at High Rise Capital Management, a real estate securities investment manager. Harmeyer received a bachelor’s degree from Yale University and a juris doctorate from the University of Virginia School of Law.
