Gladstone Securities Hires Northeast Region Wholesaler, Completing External Sales Team

Gladstone Securities LLC, an affiliated broker-dealer of The Gladstone Companies, has hired Jade Clark as its external wholesaler for the northeast region, rounding out the firm’s wholesaling team.

Gladstone Securities serves as the dealer manager for alternative investment offerings for certain affiliated Gladstone funds, including Gladstone Land Corporation (Nasdaq: LAND) and Gladstone Commercial Corporation (Nasdaq: GOOD), both publicly traded real estate investment trust.

Clark is the company’s fourth external wholesaler, joining the recently hired Vincent Centineo, external wholesaler for the central region; Geoff Ihm, external wholesaler for the western region; and Michael Kerrigan, external wholesaler for the southeast region. The wholesalers report to John Sabey, national sales manager and Gladstone Securities’ first hire for its new distribution team.

The firm previously engaged third party vendors and their wholesaling and national accounts teams to distribute preferred stock offerings for Gladstone Land and Gladstone Commercial.

Clark, who has more than 12 years of experience in alternative investments covering the Northeast, most recently served as senior vice president at Griffin Capital Securities where he raised equity for their real estate and credit interval funds, non-traded REITs, Delaware statutory trusts, and qualified opportunity zone offerings through the independent broker-dealer and registered investment advisor channels. Clark graduated from Arizona State University with a bachelor’s degree in economics.

Centineo, with more than 30 years of experience in the financial services industry, has served as director of distribution for Gladstone Preferred Farmland REIT and Gladstone REIT and was an external wholesaler for Allianz Life and Nationwide Financial, according to his LinkedIn page. He has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Illinois.

Ihm, a 20-year financial services industry veteran, spent 14 years as senior vice president and director of internal sales at Black Creek Group where he was responsible for the sales management of the internal wholesale team. According to the company, during his time with Black Creek Group, the firm raised more than $9 billion of equity capital for its commercial real estate offerings, including REITs, closed-end funds, private equity funds and a 1031 exchange program. Ihm holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Iowa.

Kerrigan has more than 14 years of experience in the financial services industry with a background in distribution sales and marketing, and previously represented several Gladstone offerings through a third-party distributor. According to his LinkedIn page, prior to joining the firm, he was a regional vice president at Timbrel Capital, and has served as vice president of sales and business development at Calton and Associates and regional vice president at SC Distributors. Kerrigan has a bachelor’s degree in business management.

Other recent hires include Sean Boyd, national accounts manager, and Zach Adams, vice president of operations, as previously reported by The DI Wire.
