FSI Elects HighTower CEO Bob Oros to its Board of Directors

The Financial Services Institute has elected Bob Oros, chief executive officer of HighTower Advisors, as a member of its board of directors.

“For years our board has proven its strength comes from its diversity. Today, our board becomes that much more diverse, and even stronger,” said FSI president & CEO Dale Brown. “Bob brings a wide variety of experience to our board as well, both through his leadership of HighTower, and throughout his career. His extensive background in our industry will better inform us as we move FSI forward for years to come.”

Prior to his current role at HighTower, Oros served as HD Vest’s CEO after joining the firm in early 2017 and spent more than five years as the head of Fidelity’s RIA segment.

Before Fidelity, he served as national sales manager at Trust Company of America, executive vice president and head of custom clearing services at LPL Financial, and vice president and senior divisional manager at Charles Schwab.
