FS Investments Expands Executive Team
FS Investments, an alternative asset manager, has hired Marc Bryant as senior managing director and chief legal officer to oversee all legal and compliance functions.
FS Investments, an alternative asset manager, has hired Marc Bryant as senior managing director and chief legal officer to oversee all legal and compliance functions. He will also serve on the firm’s executive committee.
Previously, Bryant served as senior vice president and deputy general counsel and head of asset management legal at Fidelity Investments in Boston. Prior to joining Fidelity in 2010, he served as senior vice president and head of global retail legal at AllianceBernstein L.P. and, before this, general counsel and chief legal officer at ProFund Advisors LLC.

Bryant is the third recent hire to FS Investments’ executive committee, following the additions of Robert Stark as senior managing director of corporate development in November and Vincent Amatulli as chief technology and operations officer in January.
Bryant earned a bachelor’s degree in English from Colgate University and a J.D. from Emory University School of Law.
