Four Springs Capital Trust, a private real estate investment trust, has hired James Kammert as senior vice president of capital markets.

In his new role, Kammert will collaborate with the company’s senior management team on corporate strategy, portfolio investing activity, interaction with and cultivation of investors and capital providers, as well as financial and valuation projects.

“Jim has a diverse financial skill set alongside deep knowledge of the U.S. REIT sector and related capital markets,” said William Dioguardi, chairman and chief executive officer of Four Springs Capital Trust. “We are confident that Jim’s contributions will help accelerate our growth and contribute to a range of strategic initiatives underway at the company.”

Kammert brings more than three decades of REIT industry experience spanning securities portfolio management and research, as well as Wall Street analyst work. Most recently, he served as a portfolio manager at HSRE Securities Advisors LLC (then a subsidiary of Harrison Street Real Estate Capital), where the company claims he led an investment team that delivered top quartile annualized returns in a U.S. core, long-only REIT strategy for the firm’s clients.

While on Wall Street, Kammert served as co-head of the REIT research team at Goldman Sachs Group Inc. Previously, he built the REIT research practice at the then Robinson-Humphrey Company Inc. He has also been involved in commercial real estate lending and underwriting, as well as public accounting, and is a CFA charter holder.

Four Springs Capital Trust owns and operates a portfolio of industrial, healthcare and necessity retail properties net leased to creditworthy tenants under long-term leases. Four Springs TEN31 Xchange is a sponsor of DST offerings featuring single tenant net-leased real estate.
