Four Springs Capital Markets Hires Managing Director to Oversee Family Office Channel

Four Springs Capital Markets, a financial services firm that raises capital for real estate and other alternative investments, has appointed Marie Reed as managing director to focus on the family office channel.

Four Springs Capital Markets, a financial services firm that raises capital for real estate and other alternative investments, has appointed Marie Reed as managing director to focus on the family office channel.

Reed is a financial services executive with a long history in the alternative investments and broader capital markets industry. She spent the past 25 years serving in a variety of leadership roles with Citi Global Markets.

She most recently served as managing director, founder and CEO of Citi Markets University to educate global markets professionals on asset classes including equities, fixed income, municipals, rates, foreign exchange and commodities.

“Marie is a highly skilled, consultative financial services executive with a history of helping to grow and expand capital raising platforms,” said Eric Paul, president of Four Springs Capital Markets. “We’re extremely pleased to add a professional of her caliber to the team.”

In previous roles with Citi Global Markets, Reed served as chief operating officer and chief of staff for the North America Markets head of sales, as well as managing director, head of high yield, loan and distressed debt sales. She began her career as a financial analyst for Ernst & Young and Alliance Capital.

Four Springs Capital Markets is the capital markets division of Four Springs Capital Trust, an internally-managed private real estate investment trust that acquires and manages a portfolio of single-tenant commercial properties, and the Four Springs TEN31 Xchange sponsored Delaware statutory trust platform.

Since 2009, the company has raised capital from financial intermediaries, high net worth individuals, family offices and institutional investors for 1031 programs, private placements, and REIT equity and debt investments.
