FactRight Hires Putnam

Provider of independent analytical due diligence to the alternative investment community, FactRight, recently announced that it has hired Russell Putnam as its new Due Diligence Analyst.

The Minnesota-based firm also provides outsourced risk management and has a staff consisting of licensed attorneys, certified public accountants, certified fraud examiners, internal auditors, chartered financial analysts, and former due diligence officers of financial services firms.

In his new role, Mr. Putnam will provide due diligence and fundamental analysis on a number of FactRight’s reviewed investment programs for broker-dealers. He will assist in expanding the company’s comprehensive alternative investment reports in addition to supporting research and education projects related to the industry.

Before joining the team at FactRight, Mr. Putnam was a document review attorney and a compliance consulting analyst. Additionally, he’s worked as a structured finance asset specialist and due diligence coordinator for GMAC – RFC according to his LinkedIn profile.

“Russell brings an impressive depth of knowledge and analytical ability to FactRight,” commented Scott Smith, FactRight’s President and CEO. “He will be a critical member of our offering analysis team,” he added.

A magna cum laude graduate of Hamline University School of Law, Mr. Putnam holds his juris doctorate. He received his bachelor’s degree in economics and political science from St. Olaf College.
