EP Wealth Advisors LLC, a fee-only registered investment advisory and financial planning firm, has appointed Patrick Goshtigian to serve as its chief executive officer, in addition to his previous role as president of the company.
In his expanded role, the company noted that Goshtigian will be responsible for defining and executing on the company’s strategic vision and growth objectives.
“Patrick has been a valuable asset to our team for the better part of a decade, and his knowledge of the industry and management expertise have been of significant benefit to EP Wealth,” says Derek Holman, co-managing director and co-founder of EP Wealth. “He is leading our vision for growth, and his decision-making is key to integrating firms that share our core client-centric philosophy into the EP Wealth family.”
Prior to joining EP Wealth, Goshtigian was head of Nuveen Global Operations in Chicago, as well as a managing director and head of institutional operations and administration for Nuveen Investments Institutional Services Group. He held various other roles at Nuveen affiliate, NWQ Investment Management Company.
Goshtigian earned a master’s degree in business administration from the University of California, Los Angeles, Anderson School of Management and received a bachelor’s degree in economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Additionally, he holds a Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
EP Wealth Advisors LLC is based in Torrance, California., with additional offices in the San Francisco Bay area, West Los Angeles, Irvine, California., Seattle and Denver. The firm manages more than $3.6 billion in assets as of March 31, 2018.
