Envision Financial Systems Names Mike Huisman Head of Alternative Investment Solutions

Envision Financial Systems Inc., a provider of investor recordkeeping technology, has hired Mike Huisman as head of alternative investment solutions.

Envision Financial Systems Inc., a provider of investor recordkeeping technology, has hired Mike Huisman as head of alternative investment solutions. In his role, he will oversee strategy and product development for Envision’s investor management software that supports alternative investment vehicles.

“Mike has incredible expertise developing, marketing and implementing alternative investment solutions,” said Brian Jones, executive vice president for Envision Financial Systems. “We’re excited to welcome Mike to the team and look forward to his leadership as we continue to expand our offering in the alternative marketplace.”

Envision noted that as alternative assets continue to grow and become increasingly mainstream it has been expanding its alternative investment solutions to serve a broader range of asset managers and administrators and support additional alternative investment vehicles.

Before joining Envision, Huisman was the senior director of digital software development and operations at DST Systems Inc. He has presented his insights on alternative investments operations and technology at various conferences, including the ADISA Conference, the MMI Annual Conference and the IPAVision Conference.

Huisman is involved in several REIT industry user groups including the Information Management Network (IMN) and ADISA, as well as chair for the Institute for Portfolio Alternatives (IPA) technology group and member of the DTCC advisory board.

He also serves on the statistical advisory group at the Investment Company Institute (ICI). Mike holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Iowa State University and a certificate in data science and applied analytics from Rockhurst University.

Founded in 1994, Envision Financial Systems provides mutual fund recordkeeping technology and outsource solutions. The firm said that it supports more than 470 investment companies, comprised of over 16,290 CUSIPS representing more than $3.8 trillion is client assets. Envision’s headquarters are in Costa Mesa, California, with offices in Owings Mills, Maryland, Denver, Colorado and Bangalore, India.
