DI Exec Makes the San Francisco News for an Event from 1960

Anne Rabbitt, a Business Development Consultant for The DI Wire and Principal of Rabbitt Consulting recently contributed to the SFGate providing a childhood memory of San Francisco’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade.

Anne, pictured below in the second row, second in, shared a story of calm in a world without cell phones and instant communications.

“In 1960, my uncle’s car broke down after the parade and our two families squeezed into one car to drive home to the Avenues. My Mom called out numbers as we piled out of the one car. Only instead of twelve kids, there were eleven. I don’t remember any great panic. My Father simply drove back down and he found my brother Brian enjoying an ice cream with a police officer,” wrote Anne.
