Croatan Investments, a sponsor of Delaware statutory trust offerings and other private placements, has hired Ben Bartlett as senior vice president of transactions.

In addition to identifying, underwriting, and structuring investments across the company’s portfolio, Bartlett lead Croatan’s build-for-rent division.

“With the recent addition of Ben Bartlett and his master-planned community and land development experience, we have substantially expanded our internal [build-for-rent] execution capabilities,” said Paul Van, chief executive officer. “We can now pursue land acquisition and development opportunities to complement our expertise in acquiring existing assets.
