Cresset Asset Management Names Chief Operating Officer
Cresset Asset Management, a registered investment advisor with $9.8 billion in assets under management, has appointed Randall Conte as chief operating officer.
Cresset Asset Management, a registered investment advisor with $9.8 billion in assets under management, has appointed Randall Conte as chief operating officer. In his role, Conte oversees all client service, technology and operations, information and systems technology, human resources, trading, and reporting.
Prior to Cresset, Conte was president of Parkway Bank and Trust and Parkway Bancorp, a $2.7 billion community bank headquartered in Harwood Heights, Illinois, focused on commercial real estate lending.
Previous to that role he was executive vice president, chief operating and chief financial officer of MB Financial Bank, a $20 billion publicly traded commercial bank that was headquartered in Rosemont, Illinois, prior to being acquired by Fifth Third Bank. Conte served as the co-head of all acquisition integration efforts for MB Financial Bank.
Conte is a certified public accountant and earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Illinois, and an MBA from the University of Chicago.
In other news, Cresset Asset Management recently purchased PagnatoKarp, a Reston, Virginia-based registered investment adviser with $2.3 billion in assets under management.
Cresset offers individuals and families a suite of family office services, wealth management, investment advisory, planning and other services through its RIA, Cresset Asset Management.
Cresset Partners, Cresset’s private investing group, together with Diversified Real Estate Capital, recently launched its second qualified opportunity zone fund, Cresset-Diversified QOZ Fund II, with a capital raise target of up to $750 million.
Their first qualified opportunity zone fund, the Cresset-Diversified QOZ Fund, closed in March 2020 after raising the $465 million in capital.
