Colony S2K Hires Chet Bogdan as Managing Director

Colony S2K Holdings LLC, a distributor of institutional-based investment programs through its wholly-owned broker-dealers S2K Financial LLC and NorthStar Securities, has hired Chet Bogdan as managing director.

Colony S2K Holdings LLC, a distributor of institutional-based investment programs through its wholly-owned broker-dealers S2K Financial LLC and NorthStar Securities, has hired Chet Bogdan as managing director.

Bogdan has more than 25 years of industry experience and most recently served as a senior regional vice president with SC Distributors. He started his career at Fidelity Investments and previously held the role of regional director with Prudential Financial Inc. and regional vice president with AXA Equitable Holdings Inc. Bogdan holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and philosophy from Syracuse University.

In May 2018, Colony NorthStar Inc. (NYSE: CLNS), a publicly-traded equity REIT and sponsor of non-traded direct investment programs, merged its broker-dealer, NorthStar Securities, with S2K Financial Holdings to create a new broker-dealer retail distribution business named Colony S2K Holdings LLC. Colony NorthStar resulted from the January 2017 merger between Colony Capital Inc., NorthStar Asset Management Group Inc., and NorthStar Realty Finance Corp.
