CM Pacific Capital Names Chief Operating Officer

CM Pacific Capital, a Newport Beach, California-based capital markets and distribution platform of Delaware statutory trusts, has promoted Craig Cooper to chief operating officer.

CM Pacific Capital, a Newport Beach, California-based capital markets and distribution platform of Delaware statutory trusts, has promoted Craig Cooper to chief operating officer. Prior to his promotion, he served as a regional vice president at the company and was responsible for national wholesaling, sales and distribution of Delaware statutory trust offerings, and national accounts.

In his new role as COO, Cooper will take on additional duties including overseeing the operational aspects of capital markets, daily business operations, and implementing business strategies.

Prior to joining CM Pacific in 2017, Cooper served as a home mortgage consultant at Wells Fargo Home Mortgage and a mortgage advisor at Everbank Home Lending. He served as a regional vice president for nine years, according to his LinkedIn profile. Cooper started his career in financial services in 1993, specializing in income tax preparation and planning for both individuals and businesses.

Prior to his work in the financial services industry, Cooper was a Class A golf professional at PGA West Resort in La Quinta, California. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in real estate from the University of North Texas, as well as FINRA Series 7 and Series 63 securities licenses.

CM Pacific Capital provides DST sponsors with distribution and access to the independent broker-dealer and RIA channels through their platform that includes student housing, multifamily, industrial and healthcare real estate. The company has raised more than $40 million in equity, and most recently completed the equity raise for two new DST sponsors, Core Pacific Advisors, sponsoring the Crosslakes Industrial Portfolio DST, and Arrimus Capital Advisors, sponsoring the Stadium View Student Housing DST.
