CION to Ring Closing Bell at the NYSE to Commemorate Listing

Representatives of CION Investment Corporation, a publicly registered non-traded business development company, will ring the closing bell at the New York Stock Exchange.

Representatives of CION Investment Corporation, a publicly registered non-traded business development company, will ring the closing bell at the New York Stock Exchange on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 to commemorate the listing of its shares on the NYSE with the ticker symbol “CION,” effective as of market open that day. The closing bell ceremony is scheduled for 4:00 pm E.T.

“We are extremely excited for the beginning of our next chapter as a publicly listed company and to mark this milestone by ringing the NYSE closing bell,” said Mark Gatto and Michael Reisner, co-chief executive officers. “Over the past decade, we have built [CION Investment Corporation] into a leading business development company and we look forward to continuing our efforts…”

The company completed a 2-to-1 reverse stock split on September 21, 2021, with the number of outstanding shares reduced from approximately 114 million to 57 million. CION’s net asset value per share as of June 30, 2021 was also adjusted from $8.17 per share to $16.34 per share.

CION Investment Corporation manages approximately $1.8 billion in assets and focuses primarily on senior secured loans to U.S. middle-market companies. Since launching in July 2012, the company raised approximately $1.2 billion in investor equity before closing its follow-on offering in January 2019.
