Cetera Hires Head of Business Development to Bolster Recruiting Efforts
Cetera Financial Group, a network of independent financial advisor firms, has named John Pierce as head of business development.
Cetera Financial Group, a network of independent financial advisor firms, has named John Pierce as head of business development to drive its financial professional recruiting strategy.
Pierce has nearly 30 years of experience in financial service industry and most recently served as head of recruiting at Stifel Financial Corp. Prior to Stifel, he was the lead national recruiter at Ameriprise Financial for the employee channel, and started his brokerage career at Merrill Lynch, according to his LinkedIn profile.

Pierce received his Doctor of Education degree from the University of Pennsylvania, holds an MBA from the University of London, and a BBA from the University of Cincinnati Carl H. Lindner College of Business.
