Centaurus Financial Names New Corporate Counsel
Centaurus Financial Inc., an independent broker-dealer, has hired Michael West to serve as corporate counsel to the firm.

Prior to joining Centaurus, West spent nine years working for Keesal, Young & Logan, an international law firm advocating on behalf of broker-dealers and registered representatives and specializing in other areas such as mortgage banking, employment and maritime law. He has represented multiple brokerage firms in FINRA arbitration, state court, federal court, and regulatory matters.

West earned a juris doctor degree from the University of Southern California School of Law and a bachelor’s degree in political science and history from the University of California, Los Angeles.
