Carter Validus Mission Critical REIT II Elects Board Member

The board of Carter Validus Mission Critical REIT II, a publicly registered non-traded real estate investment trust, elected Robert Winslow as a director.

Winslow has more than 35 years of real estate experience and serves as the executive vice president of construction, development and special projects and as a member of the investment committee of Carter Validus Mission Critical REIT II and Carter/Validus Advisors, the REIT’s advisor. His board appointment fills a vacancy left by David Brightwell, who voluntarily resigned earlier this month, as reported by The DI Wire. Winslow will serve for the remainder of the term until his successor is elected.

According to a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission, Winslow has packaged and managed more than 50 commercial investments in hotels, offices, shopping centers and industrial properties with a value exceeding $300 million.

Winslow has served as president and chief executive officer of Global Building and Consulting Corporation, a multi-service residential and commercial investment company, since 1996. He previously founded and served as managing general partner of Global Properties, a full service real estate brokerage firm that grew to 120 sales associates, and was the first firm Merrill Lynch Realty signed a letter of intent to purchase when it entered the Orlando market.

Winslow obtained a bachelor’s degree in business administration and economics from Rollins College in in Winter Park, Florida 1971 and a master’s degree in international finance from the Roy E. Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College in 1973.
