Bridge Investment Group Hires Managing Director for Capital Markets Group

Bridge Investment Group LLC, a privately-held real estate investment management firm, has appointed Peter LaMassa as managing director in the capital markets group.

Bridge Investment Group LLC, a privately-held real estate investment management firm, has appointed Peter LaMassa as managing director in the capital markets group.

In his new role, LaMassa will be responsible for securing capital commitments, building and maintaining investor relationships, and growing the presence of the capital markets group. The group is responsible for capital raising, investment analysis, and investor relations across each of Bridge’s investment verticals, which include multifamily, affordable housing, seniors housing and medical properties, office and debt strategies.

LaMassa joins Bridge from J.P. Morgan Wealth Management where he served as a managing director and alternative investment specialist and primarily focused on private clients, foundations and endowments. Previously, he was responsible for marketing strategy as vice president at UBS Wealth Management.

LaMassa began his career in journalism as a reporter, managing editor and executive editor of Institutional Investor’s newsletters. He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics with minors in business administration and journalism from State University of New York in Albany. He is a guest lecturer at Hofstra University.

Bridge Investment Group has more than $15 billion in assets under management. Last year, the firm launched an initiative that targets investment in development and re-development projects in designated opportunity zones.
